McHugh Construction Office Buildout

Each and every build out that Kole Construction is a part of is exciting. New products, new deadlines, and new outcomes.

The recent trip I made to McHugh Construction was filed with taking pictures exploring their halls with much pride. The office of McHugh Construction is a urban open floor plan with loft like windows, brick walls, mixed metals, that created a clean, warm contemporary work space.

I Love This Bar & Grill

At Kole Construction we like to treat each and every build out as a unique space that requires the utmost attention to detail, but the new Toby Keith bar and grill restaurant allowed our expertise to reach a new level. 

A gargantuan guitar suspending over a curvaceous mirrored bar, pallets stripped for their roughen boards and used for wall treatments, stamped tin ceilings, and bordeaux stained wallpapers are just a few of the details that made this space a unique.

Nothing is more satisfying then viewing a buildout from start to finish with such success. The bar and grill is now open and every week rocking out with new acts, good drinks, and great food. We can officially say that the Toby Keith bar is KOLE BUILT!

Office Re-Do: Our Inspiration Board

Spending over 40 hours a week in a space means you need to feel comfortable and inspired. Kole Construction is in need of an office makeover A.S.A.P! 

Here is an inspiration board that will hopefully transform our space into an modern, clean, open feeling type of interior. Any thoughts or ideas?

Safety First

Silver Cross Hospital located in New Lenox, IL has been a job like no other for one important reason.....SAFETY. As you enter the site, it is no secret that the GC as well as Kole Construction has made it a number one priority to keep safety on the minds at all times. Billboards posted, signage throughout the site, neon shirts, gloves, hardhats, and glasses are the must have items for the job site.

Kole is at an all time low in the construction field in the classification of safety and a program was established that consists of three main ingredients. Job site visits, new safety training for employees (OSHA, CPR), and the weekly safety tip distributed to all employees. The amount of effort put into the program has made it possible for Kole to take pride in safety, and will continue to dominate in that area.


Silver Cross Hospital is now open and offers top of the line care! Thanks to the many workers who have "safely" shed blood and tears to make this project a successful one and great addition to the area!

Kings Lanes in Roesemont

Kole Built and ready to play: Kings Lanes in Roesemont delivers a new outtake on the sport of bowling and offers over 27,000 sq. ft. for pure entertainment! 

A unique design with a retro flare made this Kole Construction project memorable. Custom paneling and ceiling details brought to life with fluorescent lighting is just some of our favorite features and adds to the unique spirit that Kings Lanes offers.

It's All About Detail

From raw space to the finished product, we get to experience it all. It is no easy task at times to achieve the end result but our Kole team is always up for the task. Polished exotic woods, irregular dropped ceilings, elaborate ceiling tile patterns, and intricate metal work is what we are all about!

We are very excited to be working on and wrapping up some very special projects (will have a follow-up post on these projects) that will be showcasing out detail capabilities in these summer months. Restaurants, retail, and hotels will be our main focus for this season and we are very thrilled to share the progress.
